The Group’s Code of Ethics includes supplier relations, and a Purchasing Ethics Charter has been added to the internal regulations of Groupama Assurances Mutuelles.
Three key aspects are emphasized:
In our calls for tenders, we ask suppliers-via the CSR Supplier Charter or specific contractual clauses-to declare whether they comply with the principles of the ILO, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the UN Global Compact (working conditions, environmental responsibility, ethics).
The CSR approach is integrated into the selection of new suppliers, aligning our procurement strategy with sustainability goals.
Our tenders include ESG criteria, and the Group has established a written outsourcing policy.
Groupama provides GDPR training for buyers and employees.
Groupama has also signed the 2010 Intercompany Charter (now the Responsible Supplier Relations Charter), which promotes long-term relationships with SMEs, the inclusion of ESG criteria in supplier selection, and consideration of the Group’s territorial responsibility.
Contracts include a Sustainability Clause, along with provisions to combat corruption, influence peddling, and to prevent and manage conflicts of interest.
In line with the Sapin II law on third-party ethical evaluation, a Partner Evaluation Portal (PEP’s) has been made available to Group companies to assess the integrity of non-client third parties before entering into a relationship.
The implementation of Sapin II-focused on anti-corruption and influence peddling-is addressed in the following section.
