Based on its mutualist values, the Group and its companies have been acting for many years on social, societal and environmental issues. These commitments are reflected in the following initiatives.
This programme, launched by the Union des Marques, supports brands towards more responsible communication. Starting in 2022, the Groupama Group has joined the program on behalf of all its entities and is deepening its approach toward increasingly sustainable communication.
Among our 2024 achievements are the creation and distribution of a responsible communication guide, the identification of cross-cutting and distinctive commitments by our regional offices, and the integration of a dedicated module on responsible communication into the onboarding process for newcomers, including interns.
Groupama is part of the national community ‘Les entreprises s’engagent’ (Companies Commit), a network that brings together more than 100,000 companies working towards an inclusive society and a sustainable world. As a member of this programme run by the French Ministry of Labour, Health and Solidarity, Groupama is commited to inclusion, equal opportunities, environmental transition and supports youth, people with disabilities as well as people from disadvantaged backgrounds. This commitment is in line with our mutualist mission and our responsibility as a corporate citizen.
Groupama has signed the Diversity Charter, thus asserting its voluntary commitment to diversity. Signing up to this initiative, Groupama goes beyond the legal requirements to fight discrimination. This commitment is reflected in concrete actions within our HR policy, such as promoting gender equality, supporting parenthood, assisting family carers and including people with disabilities.
The Group’s Ethics Charter rallies employees around proximity, commitment, performance and solidarity. It defines the Group’s commitments in ethical matters, such as:

The Groupama Group requires all employees, representatives and general agents to adopt fair and ethical practices in their professional activities and in their relations with the company’s stakeholders. Compliance with the code of conduct, which is directly inspired by the Group’s Ethical Charter, helps developing a sustainable and responsible society by setting out principles and rules of conduct. These are part of the Group’s written policies, in particular the Group Compliance Policy. See our Code of Conduct
Building on its sustainability commitments and strategy, Groupama launched a certification programme for its companies in early 2024. In a shared report, AFNOR identified examples of best practices and areas for improvement. Based on this analysis, AFNOR awarded the ‘CSR committed’ label to 14 Group entities in France: 1 entity at the “exemplary” level and 13 entities at the ‘confirmed’ level. Clear proof of the positive impact of Groupama’s sustainability approach!

In joining this initiative, Groupama commits to fighting age-related stereotypes, promoting an intergenerational culture and supporting the employability 50+ people throughout their professional careers. True to our mutualist values, we strive to be an inclusive, respectful and supportive company at every stage of professional life.
