This change of name forms part of the process of rationalising the names of the Group’s subsidiaries. Groupama Private Equity will continue to implement the strategy begun in 2000 of developing and opening up fund management for third parties.

Groupama Private Equity currently sponsors three investment teams covering two specialist areas: funds of funds (Quartilium) internationally, and direct investment (Acto Capital and ActoMezz) in France. There are 40 people in the combined investment and financial product (financial management, investor relations, etc) teams.

Total assets under management amounted to €1.7 billion at 31 December 2008, a rise of 250% over the last three years, 40% of which were raised from third parties.

At the end of 2008, Groupama Private Equity continued to expand with the launch of two new thematic funds of funds in infrastructure and special situations.

2009 will therefore be devoted to finalising the raising of these new funds of funds and of the direct Acto Capital II fund focused on capital development and transmission for French SMEs.
