Appointment of new directors to the Board of Groupama SA

At Groupama SA's General Meeting yesterday, Anne Bouverot, Executive Director for the International Business Development at France Télécom, was appointed as a new director.

During the meeting, as directors the shareholders also ratified the co-opting of Annie Bocquet, Chairman of Groupama Nord-Est, to replace Jean-Luc Viet, and of François Schmitt, Chairman of Groupama Grand Est to replace Jean-Luc Wibratte.

Anne Bouverot thus becomes the fourth independent director on the Groupama SA Board of Directors, which now has 17 members.

Born in 1966, Anne Bouverot is a former student of the École Normale Supérieure, holds a PhD in Information Technology and is a graduate of Télécom Paris and INSEAD. She began her career in telecommunications in 1991 as IT Project Manager for Telmex in Mexico.
In 1992, she was appointed International Transmissions Resources Manager for France Télécom International Networks and Services, before holding various positions from 1996 onwards at Global One (today Orange Business Services): Director of Network Cost Optimisation, then Director of Internet Services Marketing and Vice-President of Global Bid Management.
From 2002 to 2004, she joined Equant (today Orange Business Services) as Vice-President of the IT Services business unit before becoming, in 2004, head director for the Office of Sanjiv Ahuja, Chairman of Orange Plc.
Since 2006, Anne Bouverot has been Executive Director for the International Business Development at France Télécom.
