Career

René Cado, age 59, who is a graduate of ENST Paris (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications) and holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Stanford (USA).
He began his career at the International Audit Department of GAN in 1980. He then held several posts of responsibility in the group’s British subsidiary from 1982 to 1990, particularly in the field of non-life insurance underwriting.
Returning to Paris, he was put in charge of international management control and then group planning and control, before joining the Financial Division of CCAMA at the end of 1998.

Since 2001, he had been Financing and Investments Director, in charge of the equity financing, strategic investments and financial communication of Groupama S.A..
