Groupama announces the results of the private placement of its stake in Compagnie de Saint-Gobain

Groupama announces the results of the private placement to institutional investors of 10,121,752 Compagnie de Saint-Gobain shares, representing approximately 1.8 per cent of the share capital of the company, i.e. the entirety of its stake in Compagnie de Saint-Gobain.

The proceeds from the transaction amount to approximately €450.4 million.

The placement was managed by HSBC Bank plc acting as Bookrunner.

Groupama pursues the balancing of its assets portfolio under favourable price conditions. This transaction does not reflect in any way an appreciation of the strategy or of the management of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain.
