Today, Groupama is committed to going further in the integration of societal factors into the design of its offerings by using innovation.

In addition to “CSR” offerings, the goal is to continue to develop a responsible relationship based on long-term advice and a complete prevention policy – safety of property and people, healthcare, prevention of weather risks, etc. – and deployed as local actions, meeting our clients and members where they are, whether they are individuals, professionals (including in agriculture), companies or local authorities.

Senior offering

To better meet the needs of policyholders, insurance dedicated to seniors was launched in 2015, with types of cover corresponding to their needs, such as more advantageous reimbursements for hearing aids. A hotline for seniors is already available – and will continue to be developed through the “connected home” – and is a response to the issues directly related to the ageing of the population, such as risks for long-term care and home support.
In the Groupama Loire Bretagne regional mutual, a “connected home” has been developed to supplement the hotline, even allowing alerts to be sent outside the home.

60 years of prevention

For Groupama, prevention is reflected in a concrete commitment in areas pertaining to economic, social and environmental responsibility: protection of property and people as well as the sustainability of the businesses and the preservation of the environment. In 2015, Groupama celebrated 60 years of its prevention actions.

Within the Group, prevention services linked with connected objects are developing constantly. For example, in 2015, the group launched a Twitter campaign – #CestAprevoir – as well as an iTunes app “Groupama ma prévention météo”. Some companies within the Group are also providing innovative services with Web series dedicated to prevention as well as sensors installed in feeders to prevent fires in the agricultural sector.
